This weekend, Acer announced their latest Iconia tablet in the Indian market. The 7-inch Iconia A1-713 was announced in a multi-city launch event and will sell in India for 12,999. The tablet runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean but Acer says the tablet will be upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat in the coming weeks.

The Iconia A1-713 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 7-inch 1024×600 pixel display, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, 3G, front and rear-facing cameras, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot.

The tablet is now available at all Acer retail outlets.
